Your role within your market: shopper and sometimes stallholder

What experience do you bring to the executive team? Have established FMs, acted as market manager, chaired FM committees, been a stallholder and regular shopper. I have a background in marketing and event management.

What do you think the core values of a farmers market is/are? A place a community gathers to buy and sell local food.

Why are you passionate about farmers markets? Because they support local food producers and reflect their communities. They provide a meeting space for local people, and ensure money is invested and stays in the local community longer.

What do you think is the biggest issue facing farmers markets in NZ looking into the future? Authenticity; that when a customer goes to a Farmers Market in NZ they will find local food sold by the people who have grown or produced it.
